In the forested areas at the Pacific Coast in the states of Sao Paolo, Minas Gerais, Rio de Janeiro, Espirito Santa and the Pantanal National Parc in the south of Mato Grosso the risk of malaria is very low. We recommend the use of mosquito-repellent measures from dusk till morning.
There is no risk of malaria in the rest of the country nor in large cities.
